It is possible to rent large lockers that fit standard sized suitcases at the National Park. You will be required to rent lockers for your belongings and the driver will show you where to do this.
Aguaray EcoSport Experience
It is possible to combine this activity with your visit to the Brazilian Side of the falls because this activity takes place close to the entrance to the National Park which hosts the falls. Or you can choose a spare day to do it.
The region of the Iguaçu River where the activity is conducted is located in the section of its lower course which forms the border between Brazil and Argentina. The area is approximately 7 km after the falls.
The Aquaray adventure begins with a 45 minute light walk on the "Trail of the Indian," which leads into a lush forest inhabited by monkeys, coatis, and many birds. The trail ends at the Iguaçu River and base of water activities, where your guides will explain the equipment to be used on your river experience. Heading into the river, you have a choice of kayaking or Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarding, with all the safety equipment included. The river route takes you on a 2 km radius of the Iguaçu River, roughly 1 hour of paddling in a region of tranquility and beauty. You then take a short trek to a beautiful hidden waterfall where it is time to cool down again in the crystal water.
The practice of canoeing at this site is considered low risk, and the trained guides follow rigorous safety standards which reduce the risk to almost zero. Life jackets and helmets are used, as well as kayaks and boards of a stable quality.
Argentine Side of Falls (Shared Round Trip Transfer)
Minimum Time Requirement - you need a whole day to do this transfer to Argentina. During the reservation, you are asked to indicate which day you wish to do the Argentine side of the falls. There is usually no time to do this shared trip the day you arrive, and only on the day your depart if your flight takes off after 8:30 pm.
You will be collected from your accommodation in Foz do Iguacu in the morning and then transported to the border, and then onwards to the entrance of the Argentine Side of the Falls. The entrance to the National Park is not included.
When you reach the entrance, the group will get an explanation for the best way to explore the park's trails and take the included train trip, plus if you are doing the boat trip under the falls, you will be given the location of the starting point. At the end of the day, you will return back across the border to Foz do Iguacu. This is a shared transfer which departs every day (if you require a private service, please contact us).
