Brazilian Side of the Falls (Private Round Trip Transfer)

Your visit to the Brazilian Side of the falls is made in a private vehicle, which means your pick up time can be set to suit your schedule. You will be dropped off at the entrance to the national park, where you set the time and place for your return transfer directly with your driver. Once you enter the park there are free buses that take you to the start of the trails where you view the falls.  These same buses return you to the entrance. The park is open from between the hours of 09:00 am & 18:00 pm.

The timing at the Brazilian Side of the Falls

  • If you walk quickly, you can see the falls in a minimum of 2.5 hours.

  • To visit the falls at a comfortable pace you need at least 3 hours.

  • If you want to do the Brazilian Bird Park located near the entrance, calculate about 1.5 hours more.

  • If you want to do the Boat under the falls located inside the park, calculate an extra 2 hours.

  • If you want to do the Helicopter located near the entrance, calculate about 1 hour more. The flight only takes 10 minutes, but there is often waiting time.

About the Aguaray EcoSport Experience

The Aquaray adventure takes about 3 hours to complete and it begins with a 45 minute light walk on the "Trail of the Indian," which leads into a lush forest inhabited by monkeys, coatis, and many birds. The trail ends at the Iguaçu River and base of water activities, where your guides will explain the equipment to be used on your river experience.   Heading into the river, you have a choice of kayaking or Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarding, with all the safety equipment included. The river route takes you on a 2 km radius of the Iguaçu River, roughly 1 hour of paddling in a region of tranquility and beauty. You then take a short trek to a beautiful hidden waterfall where it is time to cool down again in the crystal water.

The activity takes place not far from the entrance to the National Park which hosts the falls. The region of the Iguaçu River where the activity is conducted is located in the section of its lower course which forms the border between Brazil and Argentina. The area is approximately 7 km after the falls.

The practice of canoeing at this site is considered low risk, and the trained guides follow rigorous safety standards which reduce the risk to almost zero. Life jackets and helmets are used, as well as kayaks and boards of a stable quality.

Do you have enough time for the Brazil Side of the Falls & Aguaray Experience?

Ideally you will have 2 nights in Foz do Iguacu, and will do the activities on your second day. But if you only have 1 night in Foz do Iguacu, to visit the Brazilian Side of the Falls and do the Aguaray Experience on the same day you must have available at least 6hrs between 09:00 am & 18:00 pm, on either the day you arrive or the day you depart,

If you do them on separate days, you need at least 3 hours to do the Brazilian Side of the falls (between 09:00am & 18:00pm), and 3 hours to do the Aguaray Experience (starting at either 09:00am or 14:00pm)

While making your booking you will be asked which day you would want to visit the falls.

Choose 1st Day if you want to visit the falls on the day you arrive, or 2nd Day if you want to visit them the next day.

1st Day - if you choose this day, your flight needs to arrive before 14:30 pm to have time at the Brazilian falls.

2nd Day -  if you choose this day, your flight departure should be no earlier than 12:30 pm. This is counting on a check in at 11:30 am.

If you are having trouble with timing, do not worry, we will help you plan your stay after you make your booking. Or contact us before for more information.
