Foz do Iguaçu Hotel to the Brazil Side of the Falls, then to the Foz do Iguaçu Airport (IGU)

From your accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu, your driver will transport you to the entrance of the Brazil national park, then after exploring the falls on your own, you transfer to the Foz do Iguaçu Airport. 

* Vehicles that operate this transfer often get reserved in advance. We recommend making a booking as soon as possible to secure a vehicle.

Transfer Service: Foz do Iguaçu City - Brazil National Park Entrance - IGU Airport

Frequency: You may schedule a transfer for any day of the week with pickup between 08:00 am & 14:30pm.

Border Crossings: Your driver will guide you through the process of exiting Brazil and entering Argentina. Our vehicles also use a special tourism lane to cross into Argentina making the crossing faster than possible the general public.

Important - this transfer crosses an international border. It is your responsibility to have the correct documents to complete the immigration processes.

Pickup Areas:  Locations within the city limits of Foz do Iguacu only. 

National Park Entrance Fee:  The entrance to the Brazil side of the falls is not included. You may pay directly when you arrive at the National Park, and they accept cash & credit card, and there is also an ATM machine at the entrance, or you may pre-purchase your entrance on this page: Brazil Side Entrance Tickets

Guide: No guide accompanies you at the falls. It is possible to add an English speaking guide to your reservation on the next page.

Luggage Storage: You may leave your luggage in the car while you visit the falls, but we ask you to lock them and to not leave money and valuables in the car. Take valuables with you into the park or place them in the park’s lockers located at the entrance.

Pick up after the falls:  On the day of your transfer, you will set the time and place for your pick up after the falls directly with the driver.

Pit-Stops: This is a non-stop transfer. Any stops on the way need prior permission (please contact us) or choose a pit-stop on the following page.

Timing - Do you have enough time?

• To have enough time at the falls, we recommend that your flight departure be no earlier than 12:00 pm, with your flight check-in at 11:00 am.

• From the Foz do Iguacu city center the average time to the entrance to the falls is 25 minutes / with above average traffic up to 40 min / Public Holidays & Major Events up to 1 hour.
  
  
• The earliest pick-up time recommended is 08:00 am because the park opens at 09:00 am.  After the park closes you need to exit the park by 18:30pm.

• The entrance to the park is located about 30 minutes from the centre of Foz do Iguaçu city.

• The airport is located about 15 minutes from the entrance of the park.

• If you walk quickly, you can see the falls in around 2.5 hours.

• To visit the falls at a comfortable pace you need about 3 hours.

• If you want to do the Brazilian Bird Park located near the entrance, calculate about 1.5 hours more.

• If you want to do the Boat under the falls located inside the park, calculate an extra 2 hours.

• If you want to do the Helicopter located near the entrance, calculate about 1 hour more. The flight only takes 10 minutes, but there is often waiting time.

• From the entrance to the National Park to the airport, the drive time is 15 minutes.

• For domestic flights, you need to be at the airport at least 1 hour before your flight, and at least 2 hours for international flights.

Vehicles

Vehicles are no older than 5 years and are insured against damages to the passenger regardless of whether in Brazil, Argentina or Paraguay.  Drivers hold credentials from the Sest Senat training school in Foz do Iguaçu.

For 1 - 4 passengers - Private Sedan - Toyota Corolla, Chevrolet Zafira, Chevrolet Meriva or similar

Baggage Allowance:  4 standard sized principal suitcases or backpacks + 4 small carry on items able to fit at your feet if you are a group of 4. If you plan to travel with more luggage than the allowance, then contract the van transfer for 5 - 12 passengers instead.

For 5 - 12 passengers - Private MiniVan - Renault Master, Mercedes Sprinter or similar

Baggage Allowance:  12 standard sized principal suitcases or backpacks + 12 small carry on items able to fit at your feet if you are a group of 12. Contact us before booking if you plan to travel with more luggage than the allowance.
